Vineyard
The Waimea Albariño is grown on the Hope Block in the Waimea Plains, Nelson. Stony soils with overlying sandy loam,
deep river silt and free draining gravels.

Winemaking Notes
A single vineyard fruit parcel was gently pressed to tank retaining only freerun and light pressing juice fractions, gentle fining
and light settling was completed prior to racking and recombining portions for ferment. Fermented with cool selected
aromatic yeast strains to retain varietal intensity and character. Matured on light lees for 5 months.
