Once again Waimea Estates is delighted to announce further success of their star performers – this time at the 2013 Sydney International Wine Competition.

This little dare devil hop-skipped it across the Appleby Highway last night having already passed over land from the Waimea Estuary.  After a phone call from a passing friend of Waimea, Ben went down to make sure it was alright - while barely believing his ears.
Sure enough, there was a super-cute little seal down there so phone calls were made to find the appropriate agency to step in and arrange care of him.  He appeared pretty non-plussed, moseying his way up Row 73 of our Annabrook Block and popping his head up every now and again to check out the Pinot Noir - we reckon he has pretty good taste!
